ClimateATLASPlan a screening
THE RESEARCH DESK

Prepare a portfolio
screening brief.

Scope a county screening for your portfolio by naming the markets and decision your team needs to make. This form creates a local text brief in your browser and sends nothing. Email the downloaded brief to [email protected] to request coverage confirmation and a quote for the pilot, before agreeing paid work.

Your browser creates the brief locally, without an account. What you type is not sent or stored; the site counts page visits with Google Analytics.

Use counties, states or regions. Leave out confidential property addresses.

Download a text file for your team’s review.

What belongs in a screening brief?

Describe the decision, the states involved and the number of locations to review. Specify the evidence needed, such as flood-map checks and the county hazard labels to keep beside them.

  1. Review the five-county sample workbook to understand the available output.
  2. Use the portfolio checklist to separate supplied locations from missing research.
  3. Review the evidence requested and identify any questions that remain unresolved.

What happens next?

  1. Review the downloaded brief and send it to [email protected].
  2. We confirm county coverage and flag unresolved locations.
  3. We send the agreed scope and payment link. The $499 pilot covers up to 25 rows after coverage confirmation; see pricing.
  4. Files are delivered according to the agreed scope and timing.

Generating the brief does not start an order. Confirm the scope by email before payment.

Not sure yet? Download the example workbook and inspect the report structure.

How should my team review the brief?

Keep the downloaded text brief in your team’s workspace. Review it before sharing confidential information.

What must be confirmed before an order?

Confirm geography, address quality, source coverage, report format, reuse rights, delivery timing and price before paid work begins. Put locations lacking evidence in the exception list; never label them low risk.

What else should I know about preparing a brief?

Will this form contact Climate Atlas?

Use the instructions beside the download button to send your reviewed brief.

Do I need to enter exact addresses?

Not in this brief. States or regions and your research question are enough. The blank location-review CSV is available for local preparation when your team is ready.

How is submitted data handled?

The form sends no data. The note above the form explains what stays in your browser and what the site measures.
